Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chickpeas
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric or paprika powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper

  1. Prepare the Chickpeas:

    • Use 2 cups of cooked chickpeas (if using canned chickpeas, rinse and drain them first).
  2. Season the Chickpeas:

    • In a bowl, combine the chickpeas with 1 teaspoon of oil, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon of turmeric or paprika powder.
    • Add ¼ teaspoon each of salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Roast the Chickpeas:

    • Spread the seasoned chickpeas evenly on a baking sheet. Roast at 350°F for 30 minutes until crispy, shaking the tray halfway through for even cooking.
