The TX-APCD will create a public access portal permitting Texans to search and review health care information and reports on a regional and state-wide basis. The reporting will address health care costs, quality, utilization, outcomes, disparities, access to health care services, and population health.
Data submissions will include member eligibility and enrollment, medical claims, encounters, pharmacy claims, dental claims, and provider data sets.
TX-APCD Data Requests
Access to TX-APCD data can be granted only to "qualified research entities." For further information on how “qualified research entities” are defined, as well as other helpful information, please review our FAQs for TX-APCD Data Requestors.
For those who qualify, data access is granted on a secure server. Analytics can be completed within the secure servers; however, no data can be downloaded. Please see the "Datasets at a Glance" page for additional information about the data and how it can be used.
