As the COVID-19 pandemic impacts communities all across, Texas, the United States, and the world, people are other unplanned and unexpected serious public health issues are beginning to emerge outside direct infection risks as more people begin to adhere to local and national prevention and risk reduction strategies. This presentation will focus on how injury patterns have begun to change in our community as a result of COVID-19, and areas that will become essential focus to reduce injuries in our communities.
