Greg Curtiss is the post award grants and contracts specialist for the Center and the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health in Austin.

Greg has a BA from Oral Roberts University. Greg joined the UTHealth School of Public Health in April 2012 at the UT Med School at Houston in Neurology, coming from Lone Star College in Houston, Texas. In November 2013, Greg accepted the Grants & Contracts Specialist position at the UTHealth School of Public Health in the CHPPR unit and then he accepted the G&C position at the Dell Center at the UTHealth School of Public Health in Austin. Greg has 11 years of grant accounting experience within the education and non-profit sectors. 

Greg is responsible for post award grants and contracts tasks. He reconciles all of the Center projects on a monthly basis and then distributes the financial statements to the Principal Investigators. Greg works as liaison between faculty and Post Award Finance in Houston. He assists with budget preparation for new project set-up and reviews the FSRs before submission to the respective funder.

When not at work, Greg enjoys genealogy, tracing his family’s background from England to America during the early 1600s, and the collector car hobby.
