Health Promotion for Children in Rural Settings

This webinar details current challenges and opportunities related to health promotion efforts for children living in rural settings in the United States. Attendees learn about current health-related statistics (physical activity, screen time, sleep, and healthy eating) for children in rural areas, compared to those living in suburban and urban areas, how we define “rural” in the United States and what impact that may have on health promotion programs/research, and some of the new ways in which we can address health-related disparities for children in rural communities.
