Speaker: Elena M. Marks, JD, and Charles W. Mathias, PhD
Length: 53:41 minutes

This webinar, co-hosted by the Texas Consortium for the Non-Medical Drivers of Health (TX NMDOH Consortium), explores innovative strategies to enhance the value of healthcare spending. By focusing on the conditions that most impact Texans, we’re driving meaningful improvements in health outcomes. The conversation highlights policy options from the recent report published through Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy to build on and initiate programming addressing the non-medical needs of priority populations and health conditions.

The TX NMDOH Consortium is a convener for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers that aims to accelerate the integration of non-medical services into the healthcare delivery system in Texas. The TX NMDOH Consortium is an initiative of Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy and is a resource to support Texas policymakers with information and resources on health topics during the interim and throughout the 89th Legislative Session.
