Dr. Tami-Maury is an Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) in the Department of Epidemiology, Human Genetics and Environmental Sciences at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health. She also holds an adjunct appointment at The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, TX. Dr. Tami-Maury has a particular interest on two specific areas: 1) Cancer prevention and control in vulnerable populations (e.g., sexual and gender minority groups, people living with HIV/AIDS, immigrants, ethnic minorities, cancer patients, adolescents and young adults, etc.) and 2) eHealth/mHealth research and e-learning/training for health care providers and lay health workers. Dr. Tami-Maury’s mentees have had the opportunity to engage in her ongoing research efforts and have served as co-authors in scientific presentations and peer-reviewed publications.
