Brian J. Fischer, MA
Research Assistant II
Brian Fischer is a Research Assistant II for the Texas Sprouts Evaluation Project. He joined in 2019, and this is his first position at UTHealth helping evaluate the introduction of school based gardens education and its effect on health outcomes.
His area of interest is public policy evaluation and Economics. Previous research includes an evaluation of a California based law and its effect on the crime rate. Before his Master of Arts program in Economics at Hunter College in New York, he taught English as an ESL teacher in China.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys traveling, trying new foods, playing games with friends, talking about technology, and hiking.
