Jayme was born and raised in Austin, TX. She attended Southwest Texas State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration. After 15 years of event planning and fundraising, Jayme decided to change career paths and began her new career with the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health in Austin at the beginning of 2017.

Jayme is responsible for assisting the regional dean with daily operations, coordinating connections for classes and presentations, submitting travel and various purchase responsibilities. When not at work, Jayme loves to travel, listen to live music and spend time with her husband, friends and family.
