Over 2,700 people in the Austin area have been seriously injured or killed in traffic crashes in the past five years. The Montopolis community is a higher risk geographic area, with Hispanic residents and young people (15-24) overrepresented in crash injuries. The Vision Zero Co-Learning & Action Planning Project, a one-year community assessment led by young adults citizen scientists, explored needs & opportunities to promote roadway safety. Learn more.
